Built in the fifteenth century by Jean de Créquy, advisor to the Duke of Burgundy Philip the Good, the Feudal Castle of Fressin is a veritable fortress, with its defensive bastions adapted to the artillery of Louis XIV, it still impresses with its power and majesty.
It was dismantled in the seventeenth century
In the showroom are recalled construction techniques, daily life at the castle and the surrounding countryside, weapons and siege engines. A projection space image in this site and its developments.
Located throughout the site, the original themes of the gardens beautify the course and enrich its content: Garden of Eden, Garden of Good and Evil, orchard, massive Golden Fleece, and the Forbidden Gardens Protector .. . and you learn a lot about the symbolic and the virtues of plants.
It has a beautiful Gothic church (classified MH) and its architectural heritage is a colorful character.

The Feudal Castle of Fressin be explored by having fun! A journey puzzles is offered to young people: they find the inhabitants of the castle and the activities of the Middle Ages while searching for wooden silhouettes. This route is parallel to that of adults, allowing for a shared activity and a constant visual contact.
Fressin is also a flower village crossed by several hiking trails and bicycle, equipped with a fishing pond and a brewery.
